Values-Based Design Refusals
Patriot's Craft is a values-driven business. We reserve the right to decline any design request that involves hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content, as well as requests that conflict with our core values. We will let you know if we are unable to fulfill a specific design request and, where possible, suggest an alternative approach.
Design Specifications
When submitting a custom request, provide as much detail as possible — including names, dates, text, dimensions, and any reference images or design ideas. The more detail you provide upfront, the smoother the design and approval process will be. We may follow up for clarification before production begins.
Material Selection
We work with a selection of wood species and materials suitable for our products. If you have a preference, mention it in your order request and we will let you know what is available. Material availability may vary.
Text & Imagery Requirements
Text must be legible at the size being engraved or cut. Very small fonts or highly detailed imagery may not translate well to wood at all sizes. We will advise you if a requested design element may not produce a quality result and suggest adjustments.
Design Approval
For complex or high-detail orders, we may provide a design proof for your review before production begins. Production will not start until you have approved the design. Approval confirms you accept the design as shown.
Communication
We communicate order details, quotes, and approvals by email or phone. Respond promptly to design questions or approval requests to avoid delays. We cannot guarantee a production slot if communication lapses significantly.
Changes & Cancellations
Design changes may be requested before production begins. A modification fee may apply. Once production has started, changes may not be possible. If a cancellation is requested after production has started, the refund may be reduced to reflect materials and labor already committed.
